“This is a historic day for Hyundai Motor Company. Not only are we celebrating the opening of the new home of Hyundai Motorsport, but also demonstrating our commitment to improving the performance of all of our cars.”

In March, the company brought a version of its i20 WRC car to the Geneva Motor Show to preview its progress. Hyundai initially previewed the car during the 2012 Paris Motor Show, but the version in Geneva featured a list of enhancements including better aerodynamics, a stiffer chassis, and improved suspension and cooling components.
